    This is a pivotal role for both the Oxford office and the entire UK business, this role will support the UK administration teams and the Oxford office. The role will be extremely varied with responsibilities for administration, recruitment admin, on-boarding and leavers processes and admin, facilities management and general administration.

    You will assist the Admin and HR teams with the administration of the starters and leavers process and administer the recruitment process for the UK Teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Administer the recruitment process for the UK divisions including monitoring the recruitment inbox, organising interviews, advertising and engagement with internal business stakeholders on open roles, and liaising with potential candidates
    • Administer the process of on-boarding new starters including liaising with IT team on new equipment, drafting staff contracts, setting up training, and inductions on first week

    The carbon consulting practice are looking to appoint a highly motivated senior consultant in the UK to support on a variety of exciting projects, principally for our private sector clients. This is a delivery and project management role engaging directly with the market to support major sustainability projects to our clients. It will involve collaborating with global Anthesis sustainability experts and with other Technical Consultants not only to deliver great projects but also to support in developing new innovative ways of supporting our clients’ sustainability journey.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Develop, sell and deliver existing and new carbon consulting services, working directly with clients throughout this process. You will be providing leading support on progressive carbon management. Anthesis has developed an enviable reputation in providing leading insight and delivery and the area of carbon management is no exception.
    • Write proposals for new business, in collaboration with the existing team
    • Be independent in engaging with a wide variety of clients, often in senior roles within their business.
    • You will be writing technical reports, drawing on expertise from across the wider team and rest of the business.
    • Attend client meetings, where necessary, for development of opportunities and project delivery.
    • Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years’ experience in providing technical carbon management support

    The Marketing Manager position is a dynamic and varied role with plenty to excite and challenge. You will take an active role in strategy development and the delivery of marketing activity across the company, reporting to Anthesis Global Head of Marketing & Communications. Responsible for UK but with a global outlet, your work will involve supporting the development of content, coordinating marketing campaigns, implementing marketing strategies, distributing releases and related materials to press and media contacts and supporting online and social media outreach. The job is full of variety, and you will need to be able to turn your hand to a range of tasks across many topic areas within the world of sustainability. This role is based in the Bristol office.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Support the execution of the company’s marketing strategy, responding to the Global Head of Marketing & Communications’ requirements, and working with both regional and community management teams across the global business:

    Key Accountabilities: 

    Project delivery:
    Working to agreed time targets use software tools provided under the supervision of a Senior engineer/consultant, supporting the team by:-  

    • Producing energy models in EnergyPro production software 
    • Producing techno-economic models to support business cases. 
    • Carrying out hydraulic design using systems such as SystemGuru and Netsim 
    • Undertaking building services engineering design work (e.g. Autocad). 
    • Undertaking energy consultancy work (ESOS, HNMBR etc.) 
    • Working with equipment manufacturers to understand technical specifications and costs 
    • Energy data analytics 
    • Contacting external organisations including our clients and their own sub-contractors via telephone and emails to request further missing data.

    This role will work alongside our existing Strategy & Communications practice members in the UK on a variety of projects, carrying out research/quantitative analysis, advising clients, contributing to the development of new business, managing projects, as well as writing reports and presentations.
     
    Responsibilities will include supporting our client-facing team to analyse and develop content for sustainability reports, ESG reports and related annual submissions.     Summary of role:

    The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in Transaction and Corporate Services as a broad area, with specific focus on Environmental and ESG due diligence work in the M&A sector with emphasis on Sustainability assessment, planning and strategy. Knowledge and familiarity with GRI and PRI criteria and standards, as well as experience in multisite and multinational M&A transactions is required. The candidate will act as Project Manager, leading and taking direct part in the assignments, with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and implies strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem solving and sustainable solutions finding.

    The Project Manager will work under the strategic supervision of the Anthesis Director and will be asked to contribute to the business development of the company through direct involvement in proposal preparation, identification of opportunities and commercial contacts with Clients.

    The role may require work trips across the country and occasionally abroad. The Candidate will be asked to work in the Rome office for a few months initial period with following residence (e.g. homeworking, different city) to be negotiated afterward if asked by the candidate.

    Requirements

    • Native or fluent in Italian and English; a third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus;
    • University Degree, background and education in one of the following sectors: engineering; environmental sciences; environmental economy, geology, environmental law;
    • At least 5 years of experience in environmental and ESG due diligence in the M&A sector and Sustainability assessment, planning, strategy, for financial, legal and industrial clients;
    • Knowledge and experience with GRI and PRI criteria, ASTM standards, non-financial disclosure regulations;
    • Knowledge of financial risk modeling (e.g. Crystal Ball) is a plus.
