    Summary of role:

    We are seeking a Technical Analyst to join our Global Centre of Excellence for Metrics and Analytics. This is a delivery role engaging directly with the market to support major sustainability projects to our clients. It will involve collaborating with global Anthesis sustainability experts and with other Technical Consultants not only to deliver great projects but also to support in developing new innovative ways of approaching analytics.

    We are looking for an IT Service Desk and Systems Support Role to join our Internal Operations Team ( 'Roots’ Team). Our Operations Team provides business support at a global level and brings innovative solutions to business processes.

    As part of our Internal Operations team, the IT Support and Systems Role will support day-to-day management of our IT systems, and ongoing system integration projects, to help us make the transition from locally based servers to a global, cloud-based system to enable greater interaction between colleagues and to enable more flexible working.

    This role will work alongside our existing Strategy & Communications practice members in the UK on a variety of projects, carrying out research/quantitative analysis, advising clients, contributing to the development of new business, managing projects, as well as writing reports and presentations.
     
    Responsibilities will include supporting our client-facing team to analyse and develop content for sustainability reports, ESG reports and related annual submissions. Our scope of work often extends into developing reporting content (both written content and numerate analyses) on core sustainability metrics beyond operational and environmental, particularly with respect to our support with financial sector clients.

    Summary of role: This is a Principal role within the Energy Engineering team, which will be key in shaping the future development and growth of the consultancy service area. The role requires an energetic and fastidious individual with a passion to shape the UK decentralised energy market and raise the profile of the Anthesis Group in this area. An essential requirement will be to contribute to the delivery of projects and provide technical oversight and quality assurance of deliverables. 

    As a Principal Engineer you will lead on various design stages of energy generation and efficiency projects, including feasibility, preliminary and detailed design and construction support. 

    Key areas of the role will also include developing new propositions and providing strategic input into the growth of our team, supporting the development of systems and Intellectual Property and working across the team to support knowledge transfer and education. 

    Key Accountabilities: 

    Project delivery: 

    • Undertake site electrical infrastructure surveys, tests, reports on existing Electrical systems performance and services installations. 
    • Electrical design, with particular focus on energy efficiency and electrical generation and storage. 
    • Take responsibility for the technical delivery of outline and detailed electrical (and ICA) design, preparing schedules, drawings and specifications and assisting with project delivery including support for the full project lifecycle, working closely with the projects and contracts team to provide installation and commissioning support 
    • Production of electrical schematics, preparation of construction drawings, LV/HV distribution system design and Instrumentation and equipment specification, switchgear sizing 
    • Be responsible for achieving appropriate quality standards including technical checking of work 
    • Acting as Client’s Engineer or Client’s Project Manager to ensure best value is obtained from contractors. Advising clients on options, risks and mitigation. Operating embedded within the client’s office where required. 
    • Liaison with electrical supply authorities 
    • Peer review and authorisation of colleagues’ work. 
    • Project management including the co-ordination of technical, commercial and procurement advice from internal and external associates. Delivering projects on time and on budget to high customer satisfaction

    • Experience of working in decentralised energy/district heating. 
    • Have experience of delivering H&S by design, compliance to CDM regulations, Ex standard, ATEX compliance 

    Knowledge/expertise required: 

    • Expertise in generation technologies and renewable or low carbon heat/power sources including PV, batteries, CHP, BMS and controls. 
    • Able to design the range of building electrical services, particularly power distribution (including cable sizing and protection studies) and lighting systems. 
    • Knowledge of building services within commercial and public sector operations 
    • Knowledge of current Building Regulations and understanding the UK IET regulations (BS7671) 
    • Monitoring of installation works on site, particularly meeting technical compliance and Site H&S matters including CDM2015. 

    Skills/competencies required: 

    • Strong technical skills including applying engineering first principles.

    • Parametric Data, Technical Drawings/Datasheets

    • Knowledge in Product Compliance, Full Material Disclosure (FMD) Data, Material Safety Datasheet (MSDS)

    • Strong Computer proficiency with MS Office and good understanding of software tools

    • Good communication, good team player, and interpersonal skills

    • Self-organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, meticulous and with strong sense of responsibility for quality and able to work independently under pressure

    • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

    • Occasional travel may be required for meeting with regulatory agencies, trade group associations, and customers.

    • The successful candidate must report to work Pasig City.

    • Shifting may be required.

    Preferred

    • Chinese and/or Japanese spoken and written technical language capability will be an advantage
    • Preferably 1 Year Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering – Chemical/Materials/Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of electronics/electrical manufacturing, bills of materials (BoMs), and materials typically used in electrical/electronics manufacturing
    • Experience in SAP
