October 2021 – Anthesis, the sustainability activator and the largest dedicated team of sustainability professionals globally, announces the appointment of Jason Pearson to the role of Executive Director and Solution Leader, ESG and Sustainability Strategy in North America. Based in Washington D.C., Jason will work with clients on defining and implementing integrated strategies for sustainable performance that deliver on client priorities.
Jason has spent over 20 years co-creating, leading and supporting initiatives that advance a just, sustainable future for all, with a particular emphasis on harnessing the humanity and innovation of the private sector toward this future. Most recently, Jason was the Founding CEO and Chair of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council, which focuses the collective market influence of institutional purchasers to advance shared environmental and social goals. Previously, as the Founder and CEO of GreenBlue, he pioneered collaborative approaches for supply chain collaboration, including through GreenBlue’s flagship projects, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and the How2Recycle® program. In parallel, Jason maintained a research and consulting practice, TRUTHstudio, which specialized in understanding, visualizing, and communicating complexity to support strategic action.

As a member of the North America Leadership Team, Jason’s addition to the North America business is the latest in a series of strategic hire announcements in the region. Jason will provide both consulting expertise to accelerate client ambitions, as well as internal leadership to further strengthen and deepen the ESG and Sustainability Strategy solution area of the business during a period of continuously increasing market demand for strategic guidance in this area.
