Measurement and verification

Measurement and verification (M&V) has developed due to the need to provide a structure to the process of objectively assessing an energy saving.

M&V is the process for quantifying savings achieved through energy conservation measures. It reveals how much energy has been saved through the implementation of the measures.

On completing the delivery of energy management projects, an important but often overlooked step is to determine the actual in-use savings. M&V provides assurance that the project is performing as per the design, can act as the basis for rectification and provides the feedback loop for decision making around future projects.

We provide M&V either as a distinct service offering to verify the success of projects implemented by others, or as a transparent element of our turnkey project offering. Our M&V professionals are internationally accredited and are happy to discuss this area in greater detail.
