Location: Barcelona, Manlleu or Madrid

What are we looking for in you?

  • Degree training (or diploma or bachelor’s degree) in: Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or similar degree.
  • Experience between 3 and 5 years in environmental management systems either in the company or in a consulting environment.
  • Minimum experience of 6 months in the implementation of environmental management systems (consulting).
  • Solid knowledge of Environmental, Industrial Safety and Safety and Hygiene regulations.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to respond positively to pressure and adopt a flexible approach to a dynamic, changing, and fast-moving work environment.
  • Able to work in virtual machines in different time zones.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Languages: Catalan (C1 if working in Catalonia); Spanish (C1) and English (C1).
  • Availability to travel and driver’s license (own vehicle).

We will also value:

  • Master’s, Postgraduate or Doctorate in Environmental Engineering; Environmental Impact Studies and Audit; Environmental Technologies; Environmental Management or Sustainability; Architecture and Sustainability and Environmental Risk Analysis.
  • Technical knowledge and complementary training in: management systems and audits (ISO 45001 and 9001), Environmental Due Diligence, European Environmental Directives (IPPC, SEVESO, RoHS, CLP, REACH), industrial safety, occupational risk prevention and systems geographical information.

You will join the Corporate Transactions and Services solution and your role will focus on the implementation of environmental management systems. The projects and clients will cover multiple sectors, from industrial and services to administrations and from companies listed on the IBEX35 to boutique brands, which require commitment to customers and their suppliers worldwide.

What will you do in your day to day life?

  • Implement environmental management systems according to the ISO 14001 Standard and / or the EMAS Regulation.
  • Carry out internal audits according to ISO 14001 and / or EMAS.
  • Carry out evaluations of regulatory compliance in industrial and commercial facilities and implement corrective monitoring actions to ensure compliance with current European, national and local regulations.
  • Carry out advice on good applicable environmental practices.
  • Carry out research related to ongoing projects; collect and analyse data; write reports and technical documents with the available information.
  • Work on corporate sustainability projects, evaluating the environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) exercise.
  • Collaborate with sustainability experts and global technical consultants from Anthesis, not only to deliver large projects but also to support the development of new service areas and innovative products for our customers.

  • Full day with flexible hours, Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Fridays from 8am to 3pm.
  • 4 weeks of intensive work in summer. You will work from 8am to 3pm and enjoy summer afternoons.
  • Remuneration negotiable according to the experience provided.
