Introducing Our Second UN Global Compact Report

July 13, 2018 | News,
UNGC Report

Anthesis Group is pleased to announce the publication of our second United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Communication on Progress, strengthening our pledge to support and uphold the United Nations ten principles.

Anthesis are committed to supporting Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption  priorities, and by voluntarily reporting to the UNGC, we are ensuring we track and transform how we are performing as a business, as well as advising our clients how to do so themselves.

Our first report, published last year, focused on activities from the UK side of the business.  Content in this year’s report reflects Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities from the UK and North America, and also share examples of our first global, collaborative initiatives during the reporting period.

We also saw significant development for our UK CSR program through the creation of two new roles: our Chief Sustainability Officer, Paul Crewe, to steer, sponsor and champion the program at a global and board level, and our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Lead, Andy Marsh, responsible for compliance and standards across all our UK operations.

On the report, Chief Sustainability Officer Paul Crewe said, “We’re very proud of our progress and are excited to share this year’s report, prepared for all our stakeholders. The production of this report relied on many Anthesis colleagues, and we’d like to thank them for their contributions.”
