Summary of role

Anthesis is seeking a Global EHS Program Manager to provide onsite support to our client ServiceNow’s Workplace Services, Global Safety and Security team.  ServiceNow is a rapidly growing technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California.  The successful candidate will be an employee of Anthesis, providing dedicated support to the ServiceNow team. The work location will be ServiceNow’s Santa Clara campus.

Responsibilities include

  • Promote a healthy and safe workplace through employee engagement initiatives
  • Provides strategic and technical consulting for a variety of Health & Safety and emergency response programs
  • Serves as the technical resource for all workplace and employee safety compliance areas
  • Support the development and implementation of Health & Safety policies globally
  • Develop, author and sustain the training programs, procedures, and processes necessary for global, geographical and regional operations
  • Monitor, interpret, and assess existing or emerging EHS laws, regulations, regulatory policy, and industry practices, determine operational and business impacts and develop training material and processes effectively manage applicable or relevant requirements
  • Develop standard protocols to conduct routine inspections and audits to assure continued compliance with site EHS requirements, commitments and procedures
  • Perform audits and reviews to identify systemic EHS training gaps, develop corrective measures and implement solutions to sustain compliance with EHS law and company EHS strategies, policies or standards. Leverage lessons learned and develop continuous improvement of training programs
  • Re-develop and implement company-wide employee safety and injury prevention training programs
  • Design effective roadmaps for efficient prioritization and implementation of safety programs
  • Lead safety related investigation of any facility and coordinate the development of action plans
  • Support Workers’ Compensation (WC) claims tracking, investigation and management process. Liaise with HR WC Program Manager on injury management and early return-to-work policy.
  • Oversight of Emergency Response Team (ERT) program and training

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field to include occupational health, environmental engineering, and emergency management. Professional related experience and/or certifications to include Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) may substitute for degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to reference and interpret regulatory health and safety standards.
  • Team oriented and comfortable with accommodating the high demands of a fast tracked, ever-changing company environment.
  • Self-starter who is capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and interface with all levels of management and employees.
  • Experience in making presentations in front of small and large groups.
  • CPR with AED first aid certified preferred
