Role: Junior Consultant – SBT and Bilan Carbone
Location: Ile-de-France or flexibly remote in Metropolitan France
Contract: Full-time
Remuneration Range: Competitive
Key requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in corporate carbon management in more than two sectors, acquired either in house or in a consultancy environment
- Experienced in client engagement with an ability to establish positive client relationships
- Proven experience in some aspects of project management
- Strong meeting facilitation skills
- Certified to deliver third-party Bilan Carbone modeling
- Demonstrated good experience in developing corporate Bilan Carbone emission inventories, quantitative modelling of reduction targets and initiatives to achieve targets
- Demonstrated some experience in GHG emission inventories, quantitative modelling of reduction targets and initiatives to achieve targets.
- Understanding of what it takes to migrate GHG Protocol datasets into Bilan Carbone datasets and vice-versa for our international clients
- Familiarity with external programs, guidance, criteria, and tools for setting near-term / long-term SBTs and Net-Zero Targets, especially the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
- Knowledgeable about a broad range of emissions reduction levers, both nature-based (e.g., forestry, coastal, marine) and technological (e.g., renewable energy, alternative fuel vehicles)
- Native French speaker preferred
- Fluency in English is a must
- Minimum intermediate abilities with MS Excel
- Able to work on virtual teams across different time zones

Summary of role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Consultant to support our growing SBT and Bilan Carbone service in France and extended Europe. Your role will be client-facing and you will help clients develop SBTs and Bilan Carbone strategies. Your projects and clients may span a diverse set of industries, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to boutique brands and start-ups.
