Summary of role:
The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in Transaction and Corporate Services as a broad area, with specific focus on Environmental and ESG due diligence work in the M&A sector with emphasis on Sustainability assessment, planning and strategy. Knowledge and familiarity with GRI and PRI criteria and standards, as well as experience in multisite and multinational M&A transactions is required. The candidate will act as Project Manager, leading and taking direct part in the assignments, with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and implies strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem solving and sustainable solutions finding.
The Project Manager will work under the strategic supervision of the Anthesis Director and will be asked to contribute to the business development of the company through direct involvement in proposal preparation, identification of opportunities and commercial contacts with Clients.
The role may require work trips across the country and occasionally abroad. The Candidate will be asked to work in the Rome office for a few months initial period with following residence (e.g. homeworking, different city) to be negotiated afterward if asked by the candidate.
- Native or fluent in Italian and English; a third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus;
- University Degree, background and education in one of the following sectors: engineering; environmental sciences; environmental economy, geology, environmental law;
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental and ESG due diligence in the M&A sector and Sustainability assessment, planning, strategy, for financial, legal and industrial clients;
- Knowledge and experience with GRI and PRI criteria, ASTM standards, non-financial disclosure regulations;
- Knowledge of financial risk modeling (e.g. Crystal Ball) is a plus.
