Net Zero and the Private Equity Climate Agenda

Anthesis is proud to have supported the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) to deliver new net zero guidance for the private equity sector. The guidance provides a global and cohesive framework for general partners and limited partners to pursue net zero in the private equity industry, with an emphasis on achieving the decarbonisation of portfolio companies.

Anthesis experts Myles Tatlock and Barrett Lawson discussed the new IIGCC Net Zero Investment Framework Component for Private Equity. In this session, Anthesis provided an overview of the key elements of the guidance and the implications for LPs, GPs, and their portfolio companies. Our panellists then discussed how private equity firms are currently approach and implementing climate practices for net zero as well as challenges they have faced.
