Beth Houghton

Beth joined Anthesis as a non-executive director in March 2021. Beth loves to help passionate management teams committed to growing a business that creates social and environmental impact alongside commercial success.

Beth leads the Palatine Impact fund, which was the first private equity house in its market to raise an impact fund. Her role includes defining the strategy and process for selecting impact investments, to engaging with portfolio companies to create commercial returns and additional value through environmental and social factors, to tracking and reporting results to our investors and other stakeholders. Beth’s passion and commitment to ESG (environment, social and governance) is second to none. Her pioneering ESG approach has consistently received awards and accolades from the British Venture Capital Association.

Beth joined Palatine in 2007 after having previously spent 10 years as a Management Consultant. She holds an MBA with distinction from Manchester Business School.
