Kelly specializes in the retail and forest, land, and agriculture (FLAG) sectors, helping to decarbonize companies’ business operations and value chains. Her areas of expertise include greenhouse gas accounting and reporting, science-based and net-zero target-setting, and implementation of interventions within the value chain.

Holding a Ph.D. in Climate Science from McGill University, Kelly has worked with leading Canadian renewable resource and electricity companies to determine the GHG impact of their activities. Her scientific expertise extends to measuring forest, peatland and agricultural land carbon sequestration and modelling the climate impacts of human disturbances on ecosystems. Kelly’s award-winning research has culminated in 8 scientific publications.
