Pearl holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering and a post-graduate degree in Experimental Toxicology. After working as a chemical regulatory expert in industry, Pearl joined Anthesis-Caleb in early 2016, as an expert consultant on EU REACH and chemical regulation. Pearl has gained considerable experience in chemical screening, hazard assessment and exposure modelling, engaged in supply chain interactions and provided the technical support for a successful appeal against ECHA.

Pearl is the Global Sustainable Chemistry Coordinator in Anthesis’ Sustainable Chemistry team, with a focus on policy development and supporting clients to go beyond compliance. She has a particular interest in the interface between chemical regulation and circular economy, life cycle analysis (LCA) and emerging product-related legislation.
