Sam Evans is a Senior Consultant with the Energy Systems team in Bristol. He has over nine years of experience in public infrastructure, and his key skills include project management, technical coordination, and stakeholder management. As a chartered Civil Engineer, he has worked on major projects in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Sam’s career began as an engineer for Transport for London, where he managed the delivery of significant infrastructure upgrades, including cycle superhighways, Crossrail 2, and the Northern Line Extension. He has since moved on to work on Heat Network projects, managing every aspect of their development from Techno Economic, concept design to commercialisation stages.
Sam’s recent success includes securing funding from both Heat Networks Delivery Unit (HNDU) and the Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) for his clients. His expertise in managing Heat Network projects has enabled him to secure the necessary funding to support his clients’ projects, and he has successfully guided them through the application process.
