Therese is the Water Stewardship Lead in North America and is an Alliance for Water Stewardship Credentialed Specialist. She has 19 years of management consulting experience with both public and private sector clients across a broad range of industries to reduce costs, increase revenue, manage risk, and build brand value. She is a subject matter advisor on value chain water-related issues and development of water stewardship strategies. This includes water footprinting and accounting, evaluation of basin-level and local/operational water risks and opportunities, context-based water target setting to address shared water challenges, development of water stewardship strategies and implementation timelines, incorporation of water issues into strategic business planning and governance structures, water-related reporting, collective action in targeted watersheds, water efficiency improvements and integration with other natural resource optimization strategies, volumetric water benefit accounting, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) implementation.
Therese is also a subject matter advisor on scope 1-3 greenhouse gas inventories and has developed financial modeling and forecasting tools to evaluate value chain energy and emission reduction projects and set actionable strategies and goals. Additional expertise includes supply chain engagement, development of sustainability strategies, corporate social responsibility reporting, external disclosures, business case development, materiality assessments, and energy efficiency initiatives. Furthermore, Therese has managed multiple environmental remediation projects and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, and she has experience in engineered natural systems designs, wetland delineations and assessments, and stormwater management. Therese has a B.S. in Environmental Systems Engineering from Penn State.
