Anthesis received a special commendation in the Large Scale Project of the Year category at the National Energy Efficiency & Healthy Homes Awards 2017.
This prestigious accolade recognises the efforts of all those involved in delivering a successful large scale energy efficiency project, and has been awarded for our work with Network Homes to install loft and cavity wall insulation in more than 1,400 homes in London and Hertfordshire.
The judges were looking for projects that stood out from the crowd and where efficiency measures resulted in quantifiable energy savings for end users. They also gave special consideration to the impact the project had within a community, what the end customers and local community had to say about the project and the level of expertise the project management and installation team had in delivering the project.
Pete Best, senior associate at Anthesis, said: “More than 30 projects were nominated for this award so it’s a real honour to receive this special commendation in recognition of our work.
“It was a pleasure, and in many ways the success of the project, to work with a series of stakeholders who are as dedicated to delivering high quality work as we are. This was evidenced by the outstanding feedback received from the residents who benefited from the project and it could not have been achieved without the commitment, accountability and hard work of Network Homes and the installation team.”
To date the project has saved residents £166,671 a year on their fuel bills, as well as cutting 12,882 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
