Vaishakh Nair is a Principal – Climate & Decarbonization at Anthesis, bringing over 12 years of global experience across the GCC, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. He leads high-impact engagements in GHG accounting, net zero strategy and decarbonization roadmaps, internal carbon pricing, climate risk assessment, ESG Strategy for clients across sectors including oil and gas, power and utilities, manufacturing, financial services, sovereign wealth funds, real estate, and multilateral institutions.
Before joining Anthesis, Vaishakh held senior roles at Borouge (an ADNOC–Borealis JV), Protiviti, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (a Fortune 500 company), where he led initiatives in logistics, network planning, operations excellence, risk management, and sustainability. His cross-sectoral leadership spans both consulting and industry, where he has consistently delivered transformative climate and sustainability strategies.
Vaishakh holds a Master of Public Administration in Energy & Environment from Columbia University and actively contributes to global policy dialogues through his involvement in UN-led task forces on climate governance and energy system digitalization.
