Sean is a senior terrestrial ecologist with more than 15 years of international experience, providing leadership on complex biodiversity and ecosystem programmes across Europe and the Middle East. Sean brings a strong combination of technical authority and strategic leadership, advising on ecology and biodiversity in alignment with key global policy and finance frameworks, including the Convention on Biological Diversity, Convention on Migratory Species, EU LIFE ProgrammeĀ and IFC Performance Standards.
Sean works closely with senior colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to embed biodiversity considerations into major programmes, investment decisions and longāterm sustainability strategies. He has a proven track record of leading and scaling multidisciplinary teams, with endātoāend responsibility for programme design and delivery ā from technical scope development and commercial oversight through to recruitment, procurement, coordination and executiveālevel reporting. He has led the delivery of complex ecological inputs for largeāscale infrastructure projects, including cities, ports, canals, transport and energy developments, often operating in challenging regulatory and environmental contexts.
