Joana Capote Soares

Joana has more than fifteen years of experience in environmental consulting and is a specialist in environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance audits, EHS due diligence (EHSDD) for purchases and sales, corporate audits and corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies for numerous industrial and service sectors in Spain and Portugal.

She has completed numerous projects involving environmental impact assessments, environmental permitting, corporate sustainability strategies, energy reduction, awareness campaigns, and the development of compliance tools for environmental directives. Additionally, she has managed various international projects for clients in Chile, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Bulgaria, Brazil, and the United States.

Joana has earned an MSc in Architecture and Sustainability from the Barcelona School of Architecture, as well as a BSc in Environmental Engineering from the New University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Sciences and Technology.
