” We have to work differently but our experts will translate these changes into opportunities to achieve sustainable performance improvements.“
2020 was declared the start of the decisive decade by the United Nations. A period when significant change to the world’s ecosystem should take place. By the end of January, change of unprecedented levels had already occurred, but of a different nature. The World Health Organisation announced a Public Health Emergency of International Concern due to COVID-19.
As we all navigate this uncertain period together, I want to provide you with reassurance that Anthesis is here to support you, our clients, alongside our staff and their families in the 16 countries where we operate.
Our contingency plans are robust and I am very confident that we can provide our services efficiently. We are accustomed to adopting flexible working practices in Anthesis and are well equipped to deliver at this time. I also want to acknowledge the pressures that many of you are under and we are keen to align and flex according to your priorities at this time. We have to work differently but our experts will translate these changes into opportunities to achieve sustainable performance improvements.
This is unchartered territory for us all, but we are determined to remain on course to deliver our collective goals and make sustainability happen.
I hope that Anthesis can be a place that doesn’t just strive to be a great business delivering positive impact to meaningful clients, but it can be a place of support for each other as we wrestle with the uncertainty in the coming months and years. There will be many questions asked of business and people in the years to come of what they did in ‘the crisis’ whether that’s the COVID-19 crisis or the climate crisis. We want to have a good answer and we want our clients to have a good answer.
Stay safe.
