Anthesis Group, the sustainability activator and the largest dedicated team of sustainability professionals in the world, today announced the appointment of Chantelle Ludski to the role of Chief Operating Officer, North America and Asia Pacific (NA-APAC), and a member of the Global Leadership Team. With extensive experience and knowledge across the fields of sustainable entrepreneurialism, operational excellence, human resources and legal & risk management, Chantelle brings valuable leadership credentials to Anthesis’ NA – APAC region as it accelerates its impact-focused growth strategy. As Chief Operating Officer, Chantelle will work in partnership with Chris Jones, Anthesis Group President, North America and Asia-Pacific, to direct strategic growth and operational performance in the region in accordance with the business strategy and goals.

Chantelle joins Anthesis from Renewable Energy Systems, Inc., where she was a member of the global leadership team and Chief Administrative Officer for the Americas. Prior to that, she spent six years with global engineering design consultancy, Arcadis, where she held roles as Global Chief Risk Officer at Arcadis N.V. in Amsterdam, and Director of Operations and Performance Excellence for Arcadis UK, a role she took on following the merger between Hyder and Arcadis in 2014. Prior to the merger, Chantelle held several positions at Hyder including Regional HR & Change Management Director, and Operations Director for the UK Land Development, Buildings & Environment sector.
Hailing from South Africa originally, Chantelle started her career as a lawyer in Cape Town. Following her secondment to her firm’s operations in the UK, she moved into a General Counsel role with one of the firm’s clients. After she left legal practice and fueled by her passion for sustainability, while studying for an MBA at London Business School Chantelle started an organic and Fair Trade coffee shop on campus – fresh! naturally organic – which she subsequently grew into the leading organic chilled food to go brand in the UK market, earning her the coveted Soil Association Business Person of the Year Award. She was also a founding member of the Organic Trade Board in the UK.

Chantelle joined Anthesis on September 1, 2020 and is based out of Anthesis’ US Headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. Chantelle is passionate about volunteering and is currently supporting Girls with Impact – a fantastic initiative that works with teenage girls to help them become entrepreneurs – and the Ventures Unit at CU Boulder. She also volunteers for Stream Girls, a STEM program, run by Trout Unlimited, in partnership with Girl Scouts of America.
