Anthesis will have two speakers at the tenth anniversary edition of the PEI Responsible Investment Forum in London on the 5th and 6th June.
The forum is widely acknowledged as Europe’s premier event focused on environmental, social and governance factors (ESG) and responsible investment in the private equity and related asset classes.
Anthesis’ associate director, Fiona Place, will be joining Ellen de Kreij of Apax, Shami Nissan of Actis and Amy O’Brien of Nuveen on a plenary session exploring the use of data to drive ESG performance and provide impact.
Fiona will look at how integrating standardized and validated ESG data from investments can accelerate value creation for asset investors. She will also examine different ways of collecting, analyzing, assessing and reporting data to show how new data streams can inform the real impact of sustainability on investment performance at the asset level and throughout the investment life cycle.
Tim Clare, a director at Anthesis, will be joining a panel examining why ESG and infrastructure are such natural bedfellows and will speak alongside Laura Canas da Costa of WWF Switzerland, Sabine Chalopin of Denham Capital and Simon Whistler of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment.
Tim will bring insights born from the company’s long experience of working with infrastructure funds to manage their ESG aspects. He will address how infrastructure’s association with international finance and wider environmental impact assessments has created a deeper understanding of the issues, as well as how exposure to climate change challenges continues to drive new initiatives.
Tim Clare said: “Anthesis is particularly proud to be speaking at and sponsoring this tenth anniversary Responsible Investment Forum, having recently helped its organizer, PEI Media, to develop their own ESG action plan.”
If you would like to arrange a meeting with a member of the Anthesis team at the forum, please contact Tim Clare or Fiona Place.
