Hannah Meade is a qualified engineer with more than 17’ years experience in transport, energy, environment, and strategic consulting. With an ability to translate the big picture, provide holistic sustainability solutions and implement them in innovative and creative ways, Hannah is known for her strategic and collaborative approach to decarbonisation, helping organisations develop sound business cases, identify challenges and opportunities and verify improvement actions every step of the way.​

Experienced in stakeholder engagement, and the design and facilitation of government industry engagement and capacity building programs, Hannah specialises in the development of user-friendly models to navigate deep complexity. ​

As an expert in the sustainable transport sector Hannah has completed many feasibility studies and implemented projects for federal, state and local councils. She was Project Director for the CVGA’s Charging the Regions project supporting a consortium of over 50 local councils and other stakeholders to roll out EV charging infrastructure across Victoria. She also developed the TMR Net Zero Roadmap Business Cases, which led to $54million in treasury investment to support EV uptake in Queensland.​

Hannah is also skilled in climate risk and climate-related reporting, including compliance with the upcoming Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards. She helps companies adapt to new mandatory requirements, enhancing resilience and identifying opportunities. Her expertise covers various aspects of reporting, such as setting up governance structures, identifying climate risks and opportunities, conducting scenario analysis, managing carbon inventories, integrating transition planning into corporate strategies, and establishing relevant metrics and targets.

Hannah also flies the flag for purpose-driven business, leading Antehsis Australia (formerly Ndevr Environmental’s) B Corp Certification. A qualified B Consultant and Facilitator, Hannah assists a broad spectrum of clients wishing to achieve B Corp certification and is a regular workshop facilitator alongside B Lab AU & NZ. ​

Hannah is also a Certified Measurement & Verification(CMV) Professional, Airport Carbon Accreditation Verifier and Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAPs). ​ ​

Academic Qualifications: With a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Environmental) / Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Masters Business Administration, she was also awarded the Victorian and National Engineers Australia Prize for Sustainability. ​
