Michael is a sustainability professional with deep experience across investment, commercial strategy and business development. He brings a commercial lens to sustainability, helping companies decarbonise value chains through renewables and energy efficiency, and translate climate and ESG risks into strategy, product differentiation and investor-relevant action. His focus is on delivering sustainability outcomes that are real, measurable and credible.

With over 20 years’ experience, he has built and grown businesses across APAC, the Middle East and Africa, leading high-performing teams and identifying unique value propositions for growth. He works with investors, companies, regulators, consultants, exchanges and industry bodies to improve operations, manage risk and shape portfolios. His expertise spans renewables, net zero transition plans, nature and biodiversity risk, and sustainability performance.

Michael regularly presents at executive and board sessions, industry roundtables and major conferences including COP28. He contributes to global initiatives, including Climate Impact X’s International Advisory Committee, ASFA, ASFI, UNPRI and RIAA. Previously, he led Emerging Markets research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and co-founded Climakind, an early initiative promoting carbon pricing and emissions reduction.
