Berta Mota

Berta Mota is the Head of Circular Economy at Anthesis Spain, leading projects on Life Cycle Assessment and sustainability metrics to evaluate the impact of products, processes and services, and the development of circularity and ecodesign strategies for a wide range of industries, such as packaging, construction and textile.

She has a consolidated experience in the field of construction materials, particularly in the cement industry, and applied knowledge on the use of chemical additives, the incorporation of cement by-products and 3D printing, amongst others.

Berta excels in communicating with diverse audiences. Her international experience is robust, having worked in multidisciplinary settings in Switzerland and Germany. She holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
