Luc is currently engaged as an investor, board member and advisor to various European start-ups. He also is a member of the Executive Education Board of TUM Business School and a member of the Advisory Board of Palatine Impact Fund II.

A Mechanical Engineer by education, Luc has spent most of his career in Financial Services. Working with Swiss Re between 1994 and 2019, he held executive positions in Zurich, Mexico City, Munich and Armonk (NY). After having led the firm’s Latin American P&C operations from the US he played a leading role as Integration Manager in planning Swiss Re Group’s global integration of GE Insurance Solutions following which time he relocated to Munich, serving as a CEO of Swiss Re Frankona and a Management Board Member of Swiss Re Germany.

In 2008 he moved back to Zurich and led several markets across the region including Benelux, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, as well the Mediterranean basin, the Middle East and Northern Africa and was a member of the Reinsurance EMEA Management Team.
