Melissa Lamson

Melissa Lamson is a Principal Consultant and Leads the Sustainable Materials Services in North America. She has deep expertise in chemical and material sustainability, innovation, product development, and scale-up. Melissa has helped a wide range of clients, from chemical manufacturers to consumer goods producers and retailers, determine environmental impacts, human health risks, social impacts, and improvement opportunities for their products. She specializes in helping clients conduct full value chain, product portfolio assessments and translate the analysis into actionable roadmaps and projects.

Before joining Anthesis, Melissa worked for over five years in the chemical industry in various roles and with a wide range of chemistry. She has developed and scaled up more sustainable technologies, including repulpable paper coatings and adhesives. She holds a BS in Chemistry, a PhD in polymer chemistry, and is an expert in acrylic polymerization.
