Claire Bosch Zuazo is Anthesis’ Global Lead for Social Impact and the Growth Portfolio Director for Value Chain Transformation. Claire works with clients across industries to make informed and ethical decisions about how to operate in a way that promotes decent work and improves environmental performance.
As an urban planner and natural resources management practitioner, she draws on more than 20 years of experience working globally with companies, donor agencies, government, NGOs, and civil society to assess socioeconomic and environmental risks, improve due diligence and responsible sourcing across their value chain, and promote place-based impact strategies.
Claire started her career in roles that approach sustainability through a deeply place-based lens, recognizing that meaningful impact starts with understanding local contexts and forging strong partnerships with local communities, NGOs, government bodies, and corporates to co-create solutions that uphold human rights and environmental best practices. By integrating local knowledge with global standards, she has helped design and implement practical initiatives for clients to promote social and environmental transparency, and adopt climate-resilient practices that contribute to strengthening social equity and communities.
Prior to joining Anthesis, Claire worked for Chemonics International, where she led business development, project management, and multistakeholder partnership development for Chemonics’ environment and natural resource practice.
Claire holds a BS in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and an MS in Natural Resource Management and Administration with a focus on Climate Resilience from Antioch University New England. She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
