Double Materiality

Join Anthesis for a practical and insightful webinar on the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA), covering what’s changed since the first wave of CSRD reports, what high-quality looks like, and how to use your DMA as more than a compliance exercise.

For many organisations, the DMA process has represented a significant investment. But as the draft simplified ESRS clarifies expectations, first-wave benchmarks continue to shape market practice, and businesses evolve; the question is no longer whether you’ve completed a DMA, but whether the one you have is still fit for purpose.

This webinar draws on Anthesis’s experience supporting DMA development across sectors and geographies and includes a live case study from Investec on what a meaningful DMA refresh looks like in practice, including dual CSRD and ISSB alignment.

Why Now?

EFRAG’s December 2025 amendments to the ESRS introduced a clearer top-down approach to materiality assessment and updated mitigation scoring guidance. At the same time, first-wave CSRD disclosures are establishing a new benchmark for IRO quality; one that exposes the gap between generic topic lists and genuinely decision-useful assessments.

If your DMA was completed in 2023, 2024 or early 2025, it is worth asking: does it reflect where your business is today? Can you explain your key risks and opportunities clearly to a sceptical auditor or Board? And is it working hard enough as a tool, not just for reporting, but for ERM integration, stakeholder engagement, and strategic credibility?
