Laura Kasa

Laura joins Anthesis as an Associate Director in North America with more than 15 years of experience working with the private, public and non-profit sectors on environmental projects.  Her background includes leading operations for multi-million-dollar organizations as well as creating new organizations and building them to a very high level of impact. She has worked on both the East and West Coasts of the US.  She has been consulting for municipalities on how to reduce their waste with a particular focus on addressing problematic single-use plastics.  She has convened international conferences to share best practices for sustainability efforts in the hospitality field, bringing in the President and Vice President of Costa Rica to highlight their efforts.

She brought her strategy background from leading non-profit organizations to her projects with clients to help design and implement strategic plans and new programs.  She has done extensive work with 40 plus jurisdictions to help them address environmental issues by assisting in drafting and implementing policy changes, working closely with the business sector on compliance issues, and engaging local communities with outreach and education efforts.
