Jonathan Friedman

Jonathan leads client services for Anthesis’ global transactions business, managing new business opportunities and strategic accounts. He is also a partner in the Wallbrook business intelligence practice.

Over the past two decades, Jonathan has been a trusted advisor to investors, multinational corporations and government policymakers on sustainability, anti-corruption, human rights, new market entry, political and regulatory topics.

Before joining Anthesis, Jonathan co-founded Wallbrook, an M&A due diligence, anti-corruption and human rights consultancy, which merged with Anthesis. He was also a director at Stroz Friedberg, a private equity-backed risk consultancy that was sold to Aon plc.

Jonathan began his career on Capitol Hill, working for then-senator Joe Biden. He has also been a commentator on geopolitics in print and broadcast media, including for the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.

Jonathan holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the London School of Economics, and also studied at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey.
