The Situation
Nutresa faced significant challenges in managing and consolidating ESG data across its 52 production plants, 32 companies, and 8 business units. The existing process involved manually collecting data from business teams via Excel files, which were then processed and consolidated by the Sustainability team.
This labor-intensive method, relying on pivot tables and Excel templates, was prone to errors and could only be completed annually, limiting real-time insights and slowing decision-making.
With Anthesis Intelligence in place, a new process was established that automatically collects data from across business units. This supports annual reporting and the delivering of detailed monthly insights. Nutresa is able to make more informed, real-time decisions, enhancing internal operations and transparency.
