The Situation
Innotech, a leading global supplier of wide and grand format print media and display hardware, received a request from a key customer for product carbon footprints (PCFs).
The customer provided detailed methodological requirements and indicated that PCF provision would become a factor in future contract awards. This made the request both technically demanding and commercially important.
Innotech partnered with Anthesis to respond quickly and credibly, developing product footprints aligned to the customerās precise requirements while also building a repeatable PCF capability for future customer and market needs.
Solution
Anthesis experts configured Anthesis Intelligenceās Product Assessment module around Innotechās products, available data, and customer requirements.
Working closely with Innotech and its suppliers, the team collected available product, production, and supply chain data across a diverse product range. Where gaps existed, Anthesis applied expert judgement, best-available secondary data, and transparent assumptions to complete robust product footprint calculations.
Once the data was integrated into Innotechās custom-configured assessment tool, Anthesis used the platformās automated reporting capability to generate detailed, Innotech-branded PCF reports for each product, which Innotech was then able to provide directly to its customer.
