The Situation
The Sussan Group, comprising the retail brands Sussan, Sportsgirl and Suzanne Grae, operates across the Australian market, selling clothing, accessories, sleepwear and beauty products. With upcoming mandatory climate-related financial reporting requirements (ASRS AASB S2), the Group sought expert support to prepare for its inaugural climate disclosures and strengthen its emissions reporting processes.
Our solution
Anthesis supported The Sussan Group across three key areas:
- Conducted a gap analysis aligned to AASB S2, delivering a detailed roadmap with action steps and implementation timeframes
- Undertook a climate risk and opportunity assessment, including qualitative scenario analysis and a review of relevant climate models across the full value chain
- Delivered GHG emissions inventory support (Scope 1, 2 and 3), building on two years of prior emissions reporting work
Each element was designed to integrate into the Group’s broader strategy and risk management systems, aligning sustainability data with reporting readiness.
