LONDON, 1 September 2026 — Anthesis Consulting Group, a leading global sustainability business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tamara Box as the new Chair of its Board of Directors, effective this week.
Tamara’s appointment strengthens the Group’s Board as Anthesis enters its next phase of growth and innovation.
A trained lawyer, Tamara has extensive experience of leading complex professional services businesses, having previously led the EME operations of global law firm Reed Smith LLP. She also recently served as Chair of UK professional services consultancy Interpath Advisory through a transformational period following its carve-out from KPMG.
As Chair, Tamara will work closely with the Board and Executive Committee, bringing strategic perspective, commercial judgement and constructive counsel as Anthesis pursues its ambition to become the world’s leading specialist partner for sustainable business performance.
Tamara Box, incoming Chair, said: “Anthesis has a critical role to play in helping global businesses navigate the profound strategic, operational and financial consequences of the sustainability transition. My ambition as Chair is to help Anthesis build on its strong foundations, sharpen its strategic focus and accelerate its growth — bringing together exceptional expertise, commercial discipline and an unwavering focus on delivering measurable value for clients. I am excited to work with the Board and leadership team to make Anthesis the world’s leading specialist partner for sustainable business performance.”
Tamara joins Anthesis at an important moment in the Group’s evolution, following its recent change of ownership to Bridgepoint Credit which has created a stronger financial platform from which to invest in the business and accelerate its next phase of growth and innovation. Building on its depth of sustainability expertise and global scale, the Group will sharpen its focus on the highest-value challenges facing clients and accelerating the delivery of the Group’s ambitions for growth, innovation and client impact.
Tamara succeeds Derek Kemp, and the Board thanks Derek for his leadership and significant contribution over the last 18 months. Under his leadership as Chair, Derek helped guide Anthesis through a pivotal period in its evolution.
Anthesis confirms that, in agreement with the Board, Dr Matthew Bell has stepped down as CEO, having led the business through a significant period culminating in the successful completion of the change in ownership.
The Board thanks him for his leadership and wishes him every success as he turns his focus to new impact-driven opportunities. A global search for a successor is underway; in the meantime, the business will be led by Tamara alongside Chief Financial and Operations Officer, Ray Leclercq, and Chief People Officer, Rebecca Pashley-Robinson.
