Debbie Hitchen

Debbie is at the helm of Sustainable Production and Consumption across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). She directs a vast team of specialized experts who are engaged in various sectors including raw material value chains, agricultural-food systems, manufacturing and retail, distribution logistics, circularity and waste management, life cycle assessment (LCA) analysis, and the supply chains of chemical and hazardous materials. She has consulting experience in sectors as diverse as pharmaceuticals, packaging, FMCG, consumer durables, retail, waste management, the public sector and charities/NGOs.

Debbie has over 25 years of experience in implementing circular economy, product stewardship and environmental and social best practice in supply chain management. She is recognised for her ability to manage multi-stakeholder, complex, collaborative and sensitive projects. She is a member of the CIWM, a qualified facilitator, and has a BSc in Resource & The Environment.
