Frank Schmidt

Frank is the Managing Director of Anthesis Germany. Frank has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, with expertise in EHS Due Diligence, soil and groundwater remediation and investigation, ESG reviews, mining and exploration and international EU development cooperation.

Before his tenure at Anthesis, Frank Schmidt was employed by Ernst & Young and Ramboll Environ. In these roles, he oversaw extensive international due diligence projects, served as the primary client liaison for a worldwide automotive supplier, and spearheaded international remediation initiatives.

Frank earned a Master of Science in Geology from the Technical University of Berlin. With a foundation in mineral exploration and international collaboration on small-scale mining support, he transitioned to environmental consulting in 2002. His professional background spans across Europe, South and Central America, as well as Western and Southern Africa.
