Simeran Bachra

Simeran is an Associate Director with more than 7 years’ experience engaging cities and regions on climate action.  She has expertise and experience in supporting local authorities in setting science-based targets, developing climate action plans, and collaborating with key stakeholders to co-create solutions.

Prior to Anthesis, Simeran was at CDP (previously the Carbon Disclosure Project) where she supported UK local authorities in climate disclosure to CDP and the Global Covenant of Mayors. An expert in climate reporting, Simeran has supported the development of various tools and resources, including with Ashden, UK100, the Science Based Targets Network and Connected Places Catapult.

Simeran is a member of the Bristol Committee on Climate Change and Manchester’s Zero Carbon Advisory Board. She has a Masters in Global Affairs from the Munk School at the University of Toronto.
