A chemical engineer based in Miami, FL, Lemis leads the North America and Latin America Circularity & Value Chain Transformation Team at Anthesis. He leads a team of more than 50 consultants and works with leading brands across sectors such as healthcare, technology, data centers, industrials and consumer goods to turn sustainability challenges into growth, lower cost and risk, and compliance readiness.
Lemis spent over a decade building product in the consumer goods industry. At P&G, he led formulation development for cosmetics such as mascaras and lipsticks, working on paraben substitution, scaling up plant-derived squalene and creating lower-footprint product designs. At L’Oréal, he led packaging innovation for the Americas, launched the first pouch foundation, which used 70% less plastic, and helped generate more than $200M in new revenue.
At The Estée Lauder Companies, he led sustainable-by-design innovation. He patented and launched the first recyclable sachets, made the North American online supply chain more sustainable, raised the use of recycled and FSC-certified shipping materials from 50% to 95%, and piloted a zero-waste returnable shipping container. He holds 26 patents.
Today, Lemis helps clients build circular products and resilient value chains, from packaging and extended producer responsibility (EPR) to chemicals of concern, product carbon footprints and recovering valuable materials from electronics and data center hardware. Drawing on Anthesis’ global network of experts and his own background in R&D, he connects science, regulation and business strategy so clients can lead in a fast-changing market.
